Patriotic Fruit Kabobs:
You'll need skewers, star cookie cutter, blueberries, and watermelon.
- Use the cookie cutter to cut stars out of the watermelon
- alternate the watermelon and the blueberries on the skewer until you think it is full
*If you don't have skewers, serve it in a bowl*
**you can add white marshmallows too**
Single Serving Sherbert Punch:
You'll need blue Hawiian Punch, red Hawiian Punch, Sprite, Red, White, and Blue Sherbert, and red solo cups.
- Depending on what flavor of punch your guest wants, put 1 cup of punch, 1 cup of Sprite, and two scoops of Sherbert into the cup.
And that's it!
*You can use whatever cup you like; red solo cups seem to hold up the best for me*
**If they want both punches, do 1/2 cup of each*

Red, White, and Blue poke cake:
You will need:
- cake pan
- measuring cup
- something to poke holes in your cake (I use a wooden skewer and big as a #2 pencil)
- Icing piper to put the yogurt in the holes
- 3 bowls
- vanilla cake mix
- red and blue food coloring
- 2 single serve containers of blueberry and strawberry yogurt (more if you want leftovers)
- 2 containers of cool whip
- red, white, and blue sprinkles
- mix your cake as directed on box and set the oven to correct temp
- separate the cake mix evenly into three bowls
- in one of the bowls, add red dye until the shade of red you want
- in another bowl, add blue dye until it is the shade of blue you want
- leave the third bowl alone
- grease cake pan
- add all three cake mixes to the pan and use a toothpick (or fork) to swirls the colors together. (you don't want to completely mix the colors, because you still want each color to show)
- bake as directed on box
- when it is done in the oven, put the cake in the fridge and let it cool for a couple of hours.
- pull it out of the fridge, and poke holes about 1 - 2 inches apart on the cake (make sure you go completely down to the bottom)
- add each flavor of yogurt to the icing pipers, and cut a small hole at the tip
- pipe the yogurts into the holes in the cake
- whatever yogurt is left over make a thin layer on top of the cake.
- add cool whip on top, spread evenly
- add sprinkles to the top
- store in the fridge until it is ready to serve.
